Why Beaverton is different

A lot of Beaverton isn't in Beaverton.

Beaverton had 97,494 residents in 2020. With 4,973 people per square mile, it's one of the densest cities in Oregon. The map is harder than it looks. Cedar Hills is an unincorporated community, not part of the city. The Cooper Mountain area is still being planned by the City of Beaverton. The hospitals families link to Beaverton don't have Beaverton addresses. Providence St. Vincent has a Portland address on SW Barnes Road, and Kaiser Permanente Westside Medical Center is in Hillsboro. The 55-and-older center is run by the park district, and county aging services come from an office in Hillsboro. A caregiver can drive your parent to appointments and errands on either side of those lines.

Local context we work with

  • Providence St. Vincent Medical Center, a 523-bed hospital at 9205 SW Barnes Rd (Portland mailing address)
  • Kaiser Permanente Beaverton Medical and Dental Office at 4855 SW Western Ave
  • Kaiser Permanente Westside Medical Center in Hillsboro, with a 24-hour emergency department
  • Elsie Stuhr Center at 5550 SW Hall Blvd, the park district's center for adults 55 and older
  • Beaverton Transit Center on SW Lombard Ave (MAX Blue and Red Lines, WES, eight bus lines), under renovation with completion planned for spring 2027
Language support

Care in your parent's first language.

In Beaverton, our caregivers speak Russian, Serbian, Spanish, and Ukrainian. We match for language from the first call, so care conversations happen in the language your parent thinks in.

Nearby cities we serve

Near Beaverton in the Portland metro.

If your family is spread out, with a parent in Beaverton and a sibling elsewhere in the metro, we cover both ends. We serve Salem and the mid-Willamette Valley too.

Questions from Beaverton

Local-specific FAQ.

She may qualify. LIFT is TriMet's shared-ride service for people who can't use regular buses and trains because of a disability or disabling health condition. It covers addresses within three-quarters of a mile of TriMet bus lines and MAX stations. Trips must be booked by 5 p.m. the day before at 503-962-8000. Eligibility starts with an in-person interview at TriMet's Mobility Center. If LIFT doesn't fit, a Pasha caregiver can drive her to appointments and errands.
